THE PODCAST NETWORK

CEO, Co-Founder and Podcaster, 2004 – Current

Pioneered podcasting in Australia and built the world’s first podcast network. Was the first podcaster in the world to sell podcast advertising, to use Skype to record a podcast, and to sell premium subscriptions to a podcast. It’s still what I spend most of my time doing today. Current podcasts explore topics as varied as value investing, AI, Kung Fu and history.

Did some really cool projects.

MICROSOFT AUSTRALIA

National E-business Specialist, May 1998 – July 2004

Lead in the development and execution of Microsoft’s e-business strategy across Australia. Drove early adoption of Microsoft’s e-business server technologies.
This was back when Microsoft was cool.

OZEMAIL

Australia’s first Internet Services Provider.
Special Projects Manager, 1995 – 1998

Basically involved running around and explaining what “the internet” was for a few years. Had people tell me things like “there’s no reason we’ll ever need email in this company – we have perfectly good telephones on our desks.”
